"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up."

Deuteronomy 6:5-7

The Preschooler

"Two little eyes to look to God; Two little ears to hear His word; Two little feet to walk in His ways; Two little lips to sing His praise; Two little hands to do His will; And one little heart to love Him still"

The magical wonder of the preschool years! Everything is new, everything is a learning opportunity. Even though the little boys don't do any formal school work, they are learning mighty things all day long. They are learning important truths about God, family, love and the world around them.  Every day is filled with wonder for them and that usually means one too many questions for Mom!

Austin: At two years old, this little guy keeps us busy! He really enjoys being at the table for school time. I let him play with manipulatives, color and build while he's with us. Fortunately, our school room sits in the middle of the play room. So he also has unlimited playtime while we work. He enjoys being read to and building with blocks or legos.

Austin, our 8 month old, loves to be sung to. I always try to include him while we are reading. He loves to be at the foot of the school table while we're doing work, I think he's entertained by us. I know one day, he'll be as bright as his older brothers are!
