a much needed message center in the kitchen. Now I can keep a weekly dinner menu for my family to see, keep the never ending grocery list and so on. But then, I practically had a whole can of paint left, so I decided to take this plain half bath…
and give it a funky graffiti wall…
The moral of the story is, be careful when you buy chalkboard paint, it’s addicting. And you’ll want to find new places to use it. Before you know it, it will be everywhere!
so funny, I am just getting ready to do this! Can you write ok on the textured wall? And did you use actual chalk or chalkboard markers? Love what you did! How are all those cute boys of yours?:)
ReplyDeleteI intended to sand my wall, and didn't, or else this project would have never happened, but a smooth surface would have been much better. The regular chalk still works over the texture, it's just not as neat as a real chalkboard. I haven't tried the chalkboard markers, do they erase easily? Please share how your project turns out. I'm sure it will be darling! Hugs and kisses to you all!
